Intruder Alarm Cable, Euroclass CPR Cable

Filter by Euroclass

The Construction Product Regulation (CPR) applies to all intruder alarm cable placed on the market for use in a fixed installation in domestic, commercial and industrial premises and other civil engineering works anywhere in the UK and European Union under EN50575.

The CPR is solely concerned with the reaction of cable to fire and resistance to fire properties, resulting in awarding 1 of 7 classifications to each product or family of products, these tests need to be carried out by an independent notified body.

Filter by Sheath Material

Choosing the correct cable by sheathing material is critical to the project. PVC cables contain a significant number of halogens which when burnt produce toxic gases.

In order to help reduce the potential impact of halogens, Low Smoke & Fume PVC (LSF) cables offer typically 18-22% less Hydrogen chloride (HCL) emissions if burnt while Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) cables have zero HCF emissions for maximum safety.
