Our range of magnetic contacts are known throughout the security industry as quality, reliable tools. This type of contact is designed to identify the opening or closing of a door, an integral aspect of any security system
From flush contacts to heavy-duty options, our product range includes Grades 1, 2 and 3 contacts, as well as double door options.
In some situations, an installer may require the connection of two or more doors using fully supervised wiring, in this case our double door contacts are ideal and can be used to fire exits and similar circumstances.
The Multi contacts come with selectable resistors to allow installers to stock one contact that can be used with any panel.
Grade 1 contacts
Grade 1 contacts are suitable for use in both Ungraded and Grade 1 systems, they have no tamper, are not required to be sealed and have no magnet detection.
Grade 2 contacts
Grade 2 contacts are suitable for use in Ungraded, Grade 1 and Grade 2 systems. They are required to have a mechanical tamper and/or be potted/sealed, End of Line resistors are optional but are not considered a requirement to meet Grade 2.
Grade 3 contacts
Grade 3 contacts are suitable for use in Ungraded, Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3 systems, They are required to have a mechanical tamper and/or be potted/sealed. EOL Resistors are optional. These contacts are also required to either detect or be immune to rogue magnets.
